Hi ,
As someone who has shown an interest in things rationalist (or secular humanist or atheist), I'd like to invite you to subscribe to "RSA Daily".
Each day, I scour the internet for relevant news (and opinion pieces) from Australia and overeas, and pull together a small number of articles to keep you across issues of interest to to rationalists, atheists and secular humanists.
People seem to like these bite-sized chunks of information. Here's some feedback:
"I've been meaning to write this for ages, and it's kept slipping off my to do list. :) I want
to say how much I enjoy - and appreciate - reading Rationale and RSA Daily! You do such a fantastic job putting these together - and inviting such a wonderful and diverse number of authors for the different articles.
"Thank you, Meredith, for the curation of such a necessary thing as the Daily, and thanks to the RSA for being there.
"Just dropping a line to tell you that I like, (appreciate), the new format for the morning news items/comment. I also appreciate all of the time and effort that you put in as regards making sure that our voices are heard.
"I am finding the new format for the RSA Daily is one of the positives for me in a time of stress. The actual content has always been of great interest to me but sometimes a bit dry. The new format invites me to read more of the articles and to raise issues when talking to others.
Thank you and your team for preparing this fabulous daily.
"Your daily emails are my favourite reading each morning!
"As a very recent subscriber, I am thoroughly enjoying your newsletters.
"As a recovering writer, I know how important feedback can be. So I must tell you that at two of the dinners I've been in Central Victoria over the past month, not one but two different people – one a man, the other a woman – have out of the blue mentioned how much they look forwards to reading RSA Daily every morning. Indeed they both raved a fair bit about how it provided a wonderful shortcut to the news and information
that mattered. As I say, this was unprompted and said once the dinner party inevitably turned to politics and reason. Good on you."
So, if you are not already a subscriber, may I invite you to give RSA Daily a
go? It's an easy way to keep abreast of relevant news and views, with a bit of humour, art and music thrown in from time to time.
