Good morning ,
All of us probably succumb to the echo chamber phenomenon: restricting
our exposure to news and views we know we're going to agree with, and assuming the opposition always opposes.
But sometimes there are surprises.
Like an article by
Chris Kenny, National Affairs editor at The Australian, entitled, "Attacks on the Indigenous voice to parliament an ugly attempt to wound Anthony Albanese".
I'll try to attach a pdf of this article to this edition of RSAD. Among other things, Kenny writes:
"The historically significant reconciliation project of the Indigenous voice has now been seized as a partisan, political weapon to be used against the federal Labor government – any doubt about that was removed this week. Senior Coalition figures now see defeating the referendum as their primary political priority to inflict political damage on the Prime Minister. It is that ugly. It is that
cynical."
