Some time ago, I invited readers of this bulletin to send me their views about an article we published in Rationale magazine on circumcision. I then published their responses. This in turn prompted further Letters to the Editor. One takes me to task for "excluding younger men and intact males."

NSW multiculturalism minister Steve Kamper has assured the RSA that his govt is committed to a "a diversity of viewpoints" on his new Faith Affairs Council. We've urged them to include representatives of "all worldviews, whether they be religious, non-religious or ex-religious people". Given the news (below) that Labor has dropped its longstanding commitment to 'secular' public schools in it policy platform, I am not confident.

And for a bit of good(ish) news... [BTW, there was another article covering this story that was entitled, "Rescue workers tackle a whale of a job". Someone should put these pathetic, undergraduate-humour sub-editors out of their misery!]
