Today, we’ve published the latest volume in Neil Francis’ landmark Religiosity in Australia series exploring Australians’ real relationship with religion.

In Part 5 – Religion, morality and ethics – Francis reveals that the long-held claim of religionists to moral superiority over non-religious people does not stack up against robust, high-quality evidence.

Francis examines attitudes of tolerance towards people of other faiths and towards science, and issues such as climate change. He also reveals the high rates of support among religious devouts for authoritarianism and dominionism.
